"I received the book on CD yesterday and I absolutely love it. I have been glued to the computer. Ann, I absolutely love the format. Now you have 3 different venues to select from. One is the book for people who have a lot of time to read. Another is the DVD and that is great for people who want a demonstration, so they can see the step by step painting to its completion. Then there is this new format; the Book CD. I think it is brilliant. I started out reading it in a rather quick pace to get an overview of the book and then I went back and studied the ideas to get a clearer understanding of the process etc. What I like about this format is the simplicity and straightforwardness of the watercolor process. In actual book form we have to do a lot of reading, whereas in this CD it is so clear and precise and so easy to assimilate the facts. It comes down to practice practice practice. The mingling idea is very creative and makes the paintings sing as opposed to boring tube paint with no life. I think a lot of watercolor paintings are lost because they are SO overworked and the subject matter is so unimaginative. Clean flowing color is where it is and your particular process meets those standards. You said exactly what you needed to say and that was just perfect. Not a lot of useless facts that we do not need. Ann, I think you did a superb job with your CD and to be perfectly honest I have not seen another format like this for Watercolor. You are ahead of the race by far. I will look forward to receiving the DVD and then I will progress to creating beautiful close up flowers. I have always thought that when I enter a gallery I am driven to the WOW paintings. The big close up flowers that say LOOK AT ME, AM I NOT BEAUTIFUL? A room in a home that has a flower of this magnitude just says WOW WOW WOW .I love the idea of being able to print out the pages and view them at my leisure. It gives me so many avenues to learn from and I appreciate that fact. We live in a mighty fast world now, and although we do not have to keep pace, we have the option with your CD format to simplify our march. From Susan, California, 11/3/14."
