Another great tip from Andy Evansen in his video, “Secrets of Painting Watercolor Outdoors.
When your working with water, a subtle reflection can make all the difference. Andy offers a great tip on how to create them organically. After you’ve laid in your water wash, go back in with a damp brush and pull out reflections below your future boats. This will create a soft edge and a subtle effect.
