ANNOUNCING - New - A Solid Start in Watercolor with Lynn Powers, Part 2

Early release in Video Download or Online Streaming formats
DVD will be coming soon

We are pleased to announce the release of a new art video workshop: “A Solid Start in Watercolor with Lynn Powers-Part 2.” This is the completion of a two-part, ten-lesson series that Lynn filmed a few years ago. The second part was delayed when Lynn turned back to her passion as a full-time artist. Thanks to the work and tenacity of editor, Eve Hansen, it is now complete.

Lynn created this ten lesson series “A Solid Start in Watercolor” as a gift to those who really want to try watercolor but who may not yet have picked up a brush for fear of trying. She designed each lesson to produce a creative result the beginner could be proud of and to enable the artist to learn the basic techniques and concepts necessary for success.

Lynn spent months finding appropriate subject matter and creating samples she could paint on camera. In most lessons she added additional line drawing references students could use for more practice with each technique. It is hard to imagine how challenging it is for an advanced artist to sustain weeks and months developing a beginning art course. But Lynn did. The result is a brilliant set of lessons that will enable any beginner to achieve success and launch into the enjoyment of watercolor painting.

This is also a great gift idea if you are a parent, grandparent, teacher or friend of a budding artist because this video series is the gift that will keep giving.

Lynn Powers and art were companions for life. As a child, she accompanied her mom on painting outings in Southern California, gained degrees in Art History and Fine Art, worked as a commercial artist and graphic artist while raising a family, became an art instructor, co-founded Creative Catalyst Productions with her husband, Jim, continued teaching beginning, intermediate and advanced watercolor throughout Oregon, and finally returned, full-time to her passion - painting.
