Join mixed media artist Traci Bautista’s class as she teaches a day long workshop in creative collage books, or ‘retro rags’. The process is fun and fast, perfect for students 10 to 100. You see how to dye a variety of cloth and paper, make and use stamps and stencils, transfer images, assemble mini collage covers, stitch in designs, create your own doodles and assemble the pages in a secure decorative latch-hook spine. Bautista finds new ways to use everyday materials; she’s an inspirational creative dynamo.

Traci Bautista, creative director and owner of treiC Designs, travels across the country and internationally to offer workshops and classes on handmade books, art journals, mixed-media collage, and surface design. Join Bautista and start making your own exciting projects. Bautista earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Woodbury University, with a major in Graphic Design and Marketing. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, Traci Bautista held jobs as a graphic designer, event planner, marketing director, professional cheerleader, elementary art history teacher, fashion designer, Web designer, and tradeshow manager — just to name a few.
