Susan was born and raised in Oregon but had the privilege of living in
different parts of the US (Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, Missouri and California) before coming back home to settle down. Susan can be a bit of a daredevil … she has been known to do things like skydive, snorkel, riding dirt bikes/motorcycles, and racing down the mountain on an inner tube! Susan is also a cancer survivor. She faced the disease head on and beat it … she is tough as nails, but scared to death of spiders!!

Prior to Creative Catalyst, Susan lived and worked in northern California. She and her husband owned and operated a fast food restaurant and Susan worked for a Cheap Tickets call center as an Administrative Assistant (travel perks were fantastic) … which is great because she loves to travel and some of her travels included Jamaica, Fiji, Mexico (3 locations) and Hawaii. Susan enjoys spending time with family (especially since her daughter and grandkids just moved here from Arizona). She also enjoys dabbling in interior design and exploring 2nd hand stores and garage sales. She fit right in here because she loves her coffee … and she liked cats, even has one of her own, Tigger. Susan looks forward to the day she has more time to get crafty, do some woodworking and cook/bake!
