A Personal View:

Paint along side one of the great painters of the UK, David Curtis. Creative Catalyst Productions brings you six instructional DVD workshops by this internationally popular painter and author. Essentially a "plein air" and figurative painter, working in both oil and watercolours, David has authored numerous books and his work resides in collections all over the world. This is one of six videos produced by APV Films and available through CCP Videos. Painting in Cornwall and in his studio, David illustrates his approach to watercolour. David has a wonderful eye for choosing subjects. Boats in an estuary and the village of Cadgwith viewed from the beach are painted on site. A further scene of a wooded bay with boats is painted in the studio, using an oil painting as source material.
