Join popular workshop instructor and author Lesley Riley in the fun of altering books, an innovative art form using memorabilia you've had around the house for years! Lesley demonstrates innovative ways to use ephemera, which materials work best, design and continuity dos and don'ts, her rationale for choosing particular fabrics, and how to avoid common mistakes. Learn a variety of ways to transfer images, and witness the resulting look achieved by each method. See how to “tip-in” pages, adhere mica, and “age” photos and fabric. Well delineated chapters allow you to jump to areas of special interest in her workshop. Lesley Riley used the following materials in this project; however, they are not all necessary to get started.

I love Lesley Riley and have her other DVD's but I wasn't as happy with this one as I've been with her others. Maybe, I just wasn't interested in converting a book. However, I did like her explanation of how to use certain tools and media and her recommendation of specific tools.

Hi Karen,
We unfortunately don't carry any titles on wool penny rugs and I'm not familiar with any videos that do cover the subject matter. Sorry I couldn't be more help! -Kelly
