Product Description

Have you been drawing or painting for some time, but always find yourself frustrated with the finished product? Many beginning and intermediate artists struggle with the concept and technique of achieving accurate perspective in their work, and without these skills, it’s impossible to produce a high caliber of work. In this essential drawing instruction video, author, artist, and teacher Gerald Brommer provides an easy to understand lesson in recognizing correct perspective, which he believes is often the key to successful drawing. Many artists are intimidated by perspective rules and principles because they can be quite mathematical and complex. In this art instruction video, Brommer relays the basic rules of perspective drawing with patience and simplicity, and will help you to master these techniques quickly and without frustration. Brommer begins the lesson with a demonstration of one- and two-point perspective, and includes useful exercises and suggestions for effective practice so that you can continue to improve your technique long after the video has ended. Then, Brommer moves into a step-by-step discussion of common perspective problems and how they can be solved quickly and easily. Students will learn how to employ the method of “eyeballing” the lines of a drawing. Throughout the course of this lesson, Brommer takes the time to explain the fundamentals of perspective drawing and is sure to cover all the applications. Students will enjoy the interesting explanation of essential terms and Brommer’s suggestion of many ways to improve their drawing skills.

When I took my class drawing fundamentals in college. Perspective stumped me big time because I didn't have a drawing background. But After I found this video Mr. Brommer simplified it to the plainest terms and then I finally got it and I mean "I finally got it".
