Oil painting and Caroline Jasper fans in the Venice, Florida area won't want to miss Jasper's water-themed oil painting demonstration and talk happening this Friday November 25th from 5-9PM at Collectors Gallery and Framery.



This is a great opportunity to see Jasper at work and well worth the break from holiday preparations.

During the event, people will see Jasper's color ground technique that begins on a red canvas. She will demonstrate how to make water ripple and flow, reflect the natural hue and texture of her subject and conjure the illusion of motion. Jasper will discuss the proper use of artist materials, including brushes, paints, and mediums, she will cover color theory and reference photos. This free event coincides with the "Merchants of Venice ARTs District Walk," an evening of art, live entertainment, food, and wine.
